many writers, I'm a bit of an introvert, most at peace when sitting alone in my "cave" transferring the thoughts in my head to computer.
Writing about myself is not something I find easy, or natural. So I'll be brief! I'm a wife, a mother, a sister, a friend. I'm a
writer who enjoys exploring relationships and emotions, wherever they lead. Most of all I enjoy writing about love at all levels, in
all forms. Any success I've achieved, or hope to achieve, I attribute solely to God, for giving me the heart to write and surrounding me with a wonderful husband, family and friends who support and encourage my dreams. I ask for His guidance always in choosing words not of my truth, but of His.
Having said that, I don't write in the "inspirational" genre. My stories tend to be darker, grittier. I'm fascinated by what drives a person to evil, and I incorporate those characters into my stories. So if you're looking for fluff, or even sweet, I'm probably not the writer for you!
Professionally, I'm a member of Romance Writers of America, Virginia Romance Writers, and Sisters in Crime. If you're a new writer, or even thinking about writing, I strongly encourage you to find a similar group where you can grow and learn and (most importantly) make some wonderful friends, as I have.
